Top 12 Investor-Ready Startups Selected by Venture Capital for Africa ¶
On November 13-14, 2019, 12 startups will showcase their innovative ideas at the Africa Early Stage Investor Summit in Cape Town, South Africa. These startups were selected by Venture Capital for Africa (VC4A) for its 2019 Venture Showcase.
The selected startups aim to raise between $250,000 and $5 million in Series A capital to develop their technology-intensive or innovation-based products or services in one or more African markets. They were chosen from various sectors, including healthcare, finance, transport, commerce, and advertising.
The 12 startups include:

- Brimore (Egypt)
- Buseet (Egypt)
- CredPal (Nigeria)
- CrowdForce (Nigeria)
- FinChatBot (South Africa)
- FlexClub (South Africa)
- LifeBank (Nigeria)
- Mobiz (South Africa)
- Snapnsave (South Africa)
- Yassir (Algeria)
- VRapeutics (Egypt)
These startups will participate in a 1-week residency in Cape Town, where they will receive investor readiness training and have the opportunity to interact with top VC investors, peers, and partners.
During the residency, the startups will deliver their pitches on the main stage of the Africa Early Stage Investor Summit, and engage with interested investors during deep-dive sessions.
