Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand has married his long-time partner Kate Wright in a lavish wedding ceremony in Turkey.
The couple, who got engaged during a family holiday to Abu Dhabi in November last year, exchanged their vows on Friday, September 27, at a £4,000 per night resort in Marmaris, Turkey.
According to reports, the Mayor of Marmaris officiated the wedding, which was attended by around 100 guests, including friends and family of the couple.
Interestingly, guests were reportedly banned from taking pictures of the wedding ceremony, with Rio and Kate 'taking everyone's phones' to restrict the spread of images online.
The wedding comes after a family trip to Abu Dhabi in November last year, where Rio proposed to Kate in front of their three children, Lorenz, 12, Tate, 10, and Tia, seven.
Former wife Rebecca Ellison passed away after battling breast cancer in 2015.
