Renowned Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has spoken out against online rumors that his girlfriend Tanasha Donnah is pregnant. The rumors had been circulating online before he embarked on a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro on September 29, 2019.
During an interview with Bongo5, Diamond Platnumz stated that his girlfriend had not given birth. He emphasized that it is their responsibility to announce such news, not just through festivals, as it is a significant cultural matter.
"...it's our duty to announce and not just through festivals... because it's something that will take time in our culture, for example, if my wife is pregnant, we will take some time, I will go to my family and we will go to one of the game reserves to chill..."
Diamond Platnumz was among 130 artists, filmmakers, and journalists who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro on September 27, 2019, as part of the 'Kili Challenge Twenzetu Kileleni' campaign, which aims to promote domestic tourism in Tanzania.
