On Monday morning, Johnathan McKinstry was unveiled as the new head coach of Uganda Cranes at the Fufa headquarters in Mengo. The appointment comes after Sebastien Desabre resigned following the team's exit in the group of 16 at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
