On September 30, 2019, Sarah Wairimu, the wife of the late Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen, denied reports that she and her husband had not been intimate for the last four years.

According to Wairimu, Cohen's claims of not being intimate for years were an attempt to portray their marriage in a negative light.

Wairimu further stated that although they would engage in sex, Cohen's performance was often ineffective due to his drug abuse and a medical procedure he had undergone.

"The applicant underwent a prostate operation which seems to have affected his ability to engage often or effectively in the manner that he did before the operation," she claimed.

Tob Cohen was buried on September 24, 2019, at the Jewish Cemetery in Nairobi.

Wairimu is currently in detention at Lang'ata Women's Prison in connection with her husband's murder.
