On September 30, 2019, Yielder International Chief Executive Officer Alexander Valenton emphasized the importance of embracing ICT for small scale farmers during the Second edition of the Digital Farmers Conference and Exhibition at Egerton University's Agriculture Resource Center.

Valenton noted that ICT platforms can provide farmers with essential information on product pricing, local markets, input sourcing, and weather conditions, ultimately improving crop production and animal husbandry.

The conference, themed 'Creating the Future Together,' was organized by the Center for Strengthening Capacities for Agricultural Education, Research & Adoption in Kenya (SCARA) and sponsored by the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences-Vienna, Austria, and the Australian Development Agency (ADA).

Experts at the symposium highlighted the potential of e-agriculture to revolutionize the agricultural sector due to its affordability, accessibility, and adaptability, empowering stakeholders to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
