On September 30, 2019, reports emerged that Sarah Wairimu, wife to the late Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen, had denied claims that she and her late husband had not been intimate for the last four years.
According to Wairimu, her husband's claims of not being intimate for years were an attempt to portray their marriage in a negative light.
Wairimu further alleged that Tob Cohen's inability to perform was due to his abuse of drugs and a secret procedure that had sabotaged him.
"The applicant underwent a prostate operation which seems to have affected his ability to engage often or effectively in the manner that he did before the operation," she claimed.
Tob Cohen was laid to rest on September 24, 2019, at the Jewish cemetery on Wangari Maathai Road, following a ceremony attended by close family and friends.
His body was found in a septic tank in his home in Kitisuru, after he disappeared on July 19, 2019.
Wairimu is currently being detained in connection with the gruesome murder of her husband, who had lived in Kenya for over 30 years.
