As the 2019/2020 Kenyan Premier League season gains momentum, Ingwe's recent 4-0 win over Chemelil Sugar has brought a much-needed boost to the team's morale.

The victory, which came in their fourth round match, has given fans a glimmer of hope that the team is turning a corner after a difficult start to the season.

Ingwe's defense has been a key factor in their recent success, with Ugandan keeper Benjamin Ochan and new signings Clyde Senaji, Collins Shivachi, and Robert Ayala Mudenyi all making a positive impact.

The team's attacking department has also been reinforced, with Casa Mbungo having a wealth of goal-scoring options at his disposal.

However, despite this resurgence, Ingwe still faces significant challenges, including unpaid player salaries and a lack of sponsorship.

The club's situation is dire after sponsors SportPesa pulled out, but Ingwe's fans are rallying behind the team, with many using the recently launched USSD code 417# to register as members and fund-raise for the club.

As Ingwe continues to shop for a stable sponsor, their fans will be hoping that the team can build on their recent success and challenge for top honors, including the league title last won in 1998 under Tanzanian coach Sunday Kayuni.
