Bandari Qualify for Caf Confederations Cup Play-Offs

Kenyan side Bandari qualified for the Caf Confederations Cup play-offs despite suffering a 2-1 defeat to Tunisian outfit US Ben Guardane in the second leg of their tie.

Published on September 29, 2019, the match was played at the Stade du 7 Mars in Tunisia.

US Ben Guardane took the lead just four minutes into the encounter via Dos Santos, who capitalised on Wanyika's goal-keeping howler.

The hosts doubled the lead in the 21st minute resulting from a brilliant counter-attack from the home side.

However, Bandari made their first change, with Cliff Kasuti coming on in place of Darius Msagha, and managed to score the all-important away goal in the 89th minute, courtesy of William Wadri's capitalisation on Kadri's brilliant assist.

The clash eventually finished 2-1, with Bandari progressing to the next round on a 3-2 goal aggregate.
