On September 29, 2019, Wazito FC marked their first win of the 2019/2020 Kenya Premier League season with a 2-0 triumph over ZOO FC at the Kericho Green Stadium.
Having drawn two and lost one of their first three matches, Wazito FC was determined to break their winless streak. Victor Ndinya scored the opening goal in the 47th minute, and Elvis Rupia sealed the win with a late strike.
Meanwhile, KCB defeated Kakamega Homeboyz 2-1 at the Machakos County Stadium, and AFC Leopards dominated Chemelil with a 4-0 win.
Elsewhere, the Kenya U15 National team won the inaugural FKF Elite League by defeating Kamukunji All Stars 3-2 at Camp Toyoyo Grounds. Kevin Wangaya was named top scorer with 9 goals, while Kariobangi Sharks took home the U13 Category title.
