Published on September 29, 2019, local tabloids had been spreading rumors that the marriage of Tanzanian musician Ali Kiba and his Kenyan wife Amina Khalef was on the rocks.
However, in a recent interview with Tanzanian Shilawadu reporters, Ali Kiba revealed that his wife is expecting their second child, putting the divorce rumors to rest.
According to Ali Kiba, he recently spoke with his wife, who is currently in Mombasa, and confirmed that she is heavily pregnant. The couple's first son, Sheikh Keyaan, was born just a year ago.
When asked about the gender of the baby, Ali Kiba stated,
"I called her, we talked about many things. My wife has not yet delivered and by good or bad luck, we have not checked if it is a boy or a girl," said Ali Kiba.
Ali Kiba expressed his acceptance of whatever gender the baby may be, saying,
"I am okay with any gender that God will give us," he added.
The news of Amina Khalef's pregnancy comes as a surprise to many, given the recent divorce claims surrounding the couple's marriage.
