Published on September 29, 2019, Diamond Platnumz, a renowned Tanzanian musician, recently made headlines after visiting an animal park. During the visit, he drew parallels between himself and a lion, highlighting their similarities.
When asked about the qualities he admires in a lion, Diamond Platnumz, also known as Simba, shared his thoughts with the press. He stated, "Si kila siku kupiga picha na ma-slay queen hotelini jamani. Simba ana sifa nyingi, ni mtu wa wake wawili watatu." (Not every day do I take photos at the hotel with slay queens. A lion has many qualities like having two to three wives.)
He further emphasized, "Simba ni mtu mkarimu sana, mtu wa watu, ila ukimchokoa, unaisha." (A lion is a very kind person, a person of the people, but when you mess with him, you are finished.)
These comments are not the first time Diamond Platnumz has expressed his openness to having multiple wives. Last year, he stated in an interview that his religion (Muslim) allows him to marry up to four wives and that he is up to the task.
As a public figure, Diamond Platnumz has been involved with several celebrity women, including Zari Hassan, Hamisa Mobetto, Mheshimiwa Jokate Mwegelo, Jacqueline Wolper, Wema Sepetu, Lulu Diva, and Tanasha Donna.
