Actress Catherine Kamau and her husband Philip Karanja, owner of Philit Production Studios, are basking in the joy of their second pregnancy, as they spend quality time together at the luxurious Grand Park Kodhipparu in the Maldives.
Sharing a glimpse of their idyllic getaway on Instagram, Catherine expressed her longing for her pre-pregnancy lifestyle, where she could indulge in wine and partying.
“I may look fine but deep down I miss my wine, itabidi supu iweze aki! Huyu mtoto pris pris akuwe msupuu sana juu ya hiyo supu yes?”
She captioned a video and photos from their trip, showcasing the couple's blissful moments in the Maldives.
Grand Park Kodhipparu, a coral luxurious island, features 120 beach-front pool villas and breathtaking over water villas, surrounded by a variety of colorful and exotic marine life.
Catherine, who is already a mother to a 13-year-old son, announced her second pregnancy and praised her husband for being a constant source of support and love.
“I have always been the Helicopter Mom, 13 years later, God has given me another opportunity to raise another angel, I am humbled. I feel blessed, I don’t know how this experience is going to be, but am willing to let go, am no longer the paranoid mom…”
She also expressed gratitude to her husband for being patient and understanding, especially during her teenage years as a mother.
“Thank you for your patience, I had no idea how much being a teenage mum affected me. You gave me assurance that you would never leave us, you have held my hand all through, spoilt me silly, i am indeed blessed. We thank God, This is such an honour,”
