On September 29, 2019, Shaffie Weru and flamboyant businessman Kevin Obia celebrated a milestone in the latter's life, marking a special occasion that brought the two friends together.
Kevin Obia, a graduate of the United States International University (USIU)-Africa, had achieved something remarkable, and Shaffie Weru was there to acknowledge it.
"Do it on your own so that they can never say they did it for you. God speed," Kevin Obia wrote, reflecting on his journey.
Shaffie Weru, in turn, celebrated his friend's achievement with a quote of his own: "If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door." He expressed his pride in Kevin, calling him his "G".
