On September 29, 2019, a devastating accident occurred in Bangkok's suburbs, claiming the lives of 13 people, mostly students.
A pick-up truck carrying 18 people, including students and company officials, flipped over while trying to change lanes on a Sunday.
According to police officer Samran Chaytao, 12 people died instantly, and one later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
Of the 18 people in the truck, nine were college-age students who had just finished mechanical training for a local company.
Graphic CCTV footage captured the horrific moment when passengers were hurled out of the vehicle onto the road.
Two of the five survivors suffered severe injuries.
