On Saturday, Deputy President William Ruto expressed his condolences to the family of Antony Kariuki, a staff member who tragically lost his life after being hit by a motorist in Eastlands.
Published on September 29, 2019, Ruto described Kariuki as a diligent and creative individual with a positive attitude, who will be deeply missed by his colleagues.
"My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the family, colleagues and friends of my staff member Antony Kariuki," Ruto said, adding that Kariuki's punctuality, team spirit, and attention to detail will be sorely missed.
Before joining DP Ruto's team as a social media director, Kariuki worked as a digital editor for Nation Media Group.
