On September 28, 2019, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to take action against Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha, who he accused of negligence in the deaths of seven students at Precious Talents College in Nairobi on September 23.
According to Duale, the relevant authorities should arrest and prosecute Magoha for the murders, as well as the school's owner and education officials who licensed the school.
"As the owner of the school has been arrested, so should the Education Ministry officials who licensed the school. They should also be taken to court for the murders," Duale said.
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that detectives had arrested Moses Wainaina, the owner of the school, on September 26.
