On September 28, 2019, Egyptian football powerhouse Al Ahly cruised past Equatorial Guinea's Cano Sport with a convincing 4-0 home win at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab Stadium.
Malick Sanogo and Aliou Dieng led the charge, scoring two goals each in the match. Dieng, a Malian midfielder, made an impressive debut, scoring the opening goal in the eighth minute and showcasing his skills throughout the game.
Al Ahly's victory secured their spot in the African Champions League group stage with a 6-0 aggregate win over Cano Sport.
