President Uhuru Kenyatta, a 1985 Economics and Political Science graduate of Amherst College, recently returned to his alma mater in Massachusetts.
During his visit on Thursday, Kenyatta met with Kenyan students studying at the institution, as reported by Citizen Digital.
According to a video taken during the visit, Kenyatta was seen cracking jokes with a group of seven Kenyan students.
Amherst College, one of the premier liberal arts colleges in the US, was founded in 1821 and is the third-oldest institution of higher learning in Massachusetts.
President Kenyatta's visit to Amherst College occurred while he was in the US for the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
