On a thrilling Saturday at Impala Sports Club, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) made a resounding statement, defeating Kenyatta University's Blak Blad 53-15 to secure their spot in the Impala Floodlit semi-finals.

With their forwards leading the charge, KCB scored nine tries, including five pushover tries, to blow away Blak Blad. Oliver Mang'eni and Martin Owillah, who made a comeback after almost a year out, each scored a brace, while Nelson Nyandat, Rocky Anguko, Tony Onyango, Felix Wanjala, and Manasse Oduor contributed a try each.

Stephen Osumba slotted over three conversions, and fullback curled over two to seal the victory for KCB. Archadeus Kwesa's two tries for Blak Blad were not enough to salvage the match.

According to KCB's forwards coach, Dennis Mwanja, the team's display was a bit rusty, but they were trying out a new structure, which brought out both strong and weak points. Mwanja praised Anguko and Owillah's return from injury, as well as Mang'eni and Wanjala's outstanding performances.

Meanwhile, Homeboyz edged out Nondescripts 23-14, with Mark Wandetto scoring the decisive try in the dying minutes. Homeboyz will now face KCB in the semi-finals.

Menengai Oilers caused a major upset by defeating seven-time champions Impala Saracens 26-23 in the quarter-finals. The match went into extra time, with Austin Sikutwa scoring the decisive penalty to send Oilers to the semi-finals.

Kenya Harlequin also secured their spot in the semi-finals by beating Nakuru 19-14.
