On September 28, 2019, the Hospitality and Tourism Sports Organisation (Hotoso) inter-hotel competitions came to a close with the outdoor games concluding the 2019 events at the Utalii College Sports Club.
The organisation, comprising 31 member hotels, saw nine hotels from Mombasa, Nairobi, and Machakos participate in both indoor and outdoor games this year.
Participating hotels included Radisson Blue, Movenpick, Kenya Utalii College, Sankara, Four Points by Sheraton, Tribe Hotel, NAS Airport Services Limited, Boma, and Trademark Hotel.
NAS Airport Services Limited emerged victorious in the darts competition, claiming gold, while Kenya Utalii College and Sankara secured silver and bronze respectively.
Radisson Blue Hotel took the top spot in the drafts competition, followed by Kenya Utalii College and Tribe Hotel in second and third place respectively.
Kenya Utalii College won the lawn tennis title, with NAS Airport Services Limited taking silver. In the men's table tennis, NAS Airport Services Limited secured the top spot, while Kenya Utalii College and Tribe Hotel took silver and bronze respectively.
Tribe Hotel emerged victorious in the women's table tennis competition, with Kenya Utalii College and Movenpick securing silver and bronze respectively.
Sankara dominated the men's pool games, with Tribe Hotel taking silver and NAS Airport Services Limited securing bronze. In the scrabble competition, Sankara secured gold, while Kenya Utalii College and Movenpick took silver and bronze respectively.
Kenya Utalii College won the men's badminton title, with NAS Airport Services Limited and Tribe Hotel taking silver and bronze respectively. In the women's badminton, Kenya Utalii College secured the top spot, while Movenpick Hotel took silver.
Intercontinental Hotel emerged victorious in the men's athletics competition, securing 62 points, followed by Gelian Hotel with 57 points and Kenya Utalii College with 34 points. In the women's athletics, Kenya Utalii College secured the top spot with 54 points, followed by Movenpick Hotel with 37 points and NAS Airport Services Limited with 32 points.
