Chelsea's Frank Lampard secured his first home Premier League win on September 28, 2019, as the team defeated Brighton 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Goals from Jorginho and Willian ensured the Blues' victory, with Jorginho scoring his first goal at the stadium from the penalty spot in the 50th minute.
Chelsea dominated the game from the start, with Tammy Abraham striking the woodwork with a header in the 14th minute and Ross Barkley's shot being well saved by Matthew Ryan in the 36th minute.
However, it was not until the second half that Chelsea finally got their reward, with Jorginho slotting home from the spot after Mason Mount was hacked down in the box.
Willian doubled Chelsea's lead in the 76th minute, and the team held on to claim a 2-0 win, moving up to sixth in the Premier League table.
The result also meant that Kepa Arrizabalaga kept his first clean sheet of the season.
