On September 28, 2019, Juventus secured a crucial 2-0 win over SPAL, climbing back to the top of Serie A.

After missing out in Juventus' 2-1 midweek win against Brescia, Cristiano Ronaldo made a return to the team, and his late strike proved decisive in the match.

Miralem Pjanic's 45th-minute goal and Ronaldo's 78th-minute header handed Maurizio Sarri's men all three points.

SPAL goalkeeper Berisha made several outstanding saves in the game, including denying Ronaldo, Ramsey, and Dybala in the first half.

However, Pjanic's late goal in the first half and Ronaldo's header in the second half earned Juventus the much-needed victory.

Despite efforts from Juventus to extend their lead, the game ended with a 2-0 win for the home side.
