Two Bodies Found with Bullet Wounds on Nairobi's Southern Bypass

On Saturday, September 28, 2019, police in Nairobi responded to reports of gunshots on the Southern Bypass in Karen.

According to a police report, officers on patrol heard the sounds of gunshots at around 4am and rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival, they found a silver Toyota Fielder with two bodies inside, both with bullet wounds, and the vehicle riddled with bullet holes.

A further search revealed another vehicle, a white Toyota Premio, approximately 500 metres from the scene, with a male adult in critical condition from gunshot injuries.

The victim was rushed to hospital while the two bodies were moved to the City mortuary.

The two vehicles have been towed to Karen Police Station for further investigation.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations are investigating the incident.
