Published on September 28, 2019, Pastor Eric Omba has finally spoken out about the demise of his marriage to gospel singer Gloria Muliro.
According to Eric, the main reason their marriage broke down was Gloria's tendency to involve her family in their personal issues and disagreements, making their dirty linen public.
The couple had a high-profile wedding at PCEA Nairobi West and later renewed their vows at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi after five years of marriage.
Eric, a pastor, revealed that he was determined to make the marriage work but ultimately, it did not. He had never considered divorce, but Gloria's actions led him to believe it was the only option.
Eric shared a poignant quote, 'When we started living together, the marriage started being a community marriage.' He added that Gloria would often tell her friends about his background and that he had not even met her parents.
He emphasized, 'I was 100% sure our marriage would work.' However, he later revealed that Gloria had gotten a restraining order, which he felt was an attempt to keep him at a distance.
Eric also shared that Gloria had accused him of infidelity, but he maintained that he had never cheated on her. He said, 'I always knew he was cheating on me. Friends would always come around with reports, but I always shut them out.'
However, in the same interview, Eric denied the allegations, stating that he had never cheated on Gloria.
