Published on September 27, 2019, a Molo court released David Karega, 30, on Ksh.500,000 bond after he was charged with five counts of defilement.
According to court documents, Karega is accused of defiling five girls, including minors aged 7, 5, and 4 years old, and attempting to defile two others aged 6 and 5 years.
Resident Magistrate Rhoda Yator presided over the proceedings, which included an additional charge of having an indecent act with the five minors.
The Prosecution asked the court to consider fixing a hearing date soon as the minors might forget what happened.
