George Ikua, husband to the late NTV reporter Janet Kanini Ikua, has found love again and is willing to take it to the next step. This comes two years after Janet's passing in 2017 due to lung cancer.
Ikua shared his thoughts on moving on in a recent interview, stating, 'Yes, I am in a relationship, and I am sure I want to take it to the next step.'
He emphasized that his decision to move on does not mean he loves Janet any less, saying, 'Grieving is not a function or a job. Janet will be there with me till I die, Janet was my best friend and when I was starting out my career, I was dating her so we grew together. I am the one who took her for her first TV interview. Grieving never stops; it's just things start happening around you. Just be clear about what you want.'
Ikua revealed that he considered several factors before settling with his new partner, including understanding each other's love language, sex language, and the importance of marriage, as well as parenting and respecting his late wife's memory.
