September 27, 2019, marked the release of Mbosso's hit song, which has garnered nearly 1 million views. The song features Reekado Banks and Bolivia, a Kenyan model, in a beautiful collaboration.

However, the road to this success was not without its challenges. Initially, Sauti Sol was set to feature in the song, but they took too long to respond, giving Reekado Banks the opportunity to work with Mbosso instead.

According to Mbosso, Reekado Banks was quick to respond to his DM, showing interest in working together. Mbosso was impressed by Reekado's knowledge of his music and awards, despite not understanding Swahili.

Reekado Banks revealed that he chose to work with Mbosso because he was not paying him a dime. Mbosso provided Reekado with transport, accommodation, and clothes, and the two artists wanted to work together.

Another artist who missed out on the opportunity to work with Mbosso was Rude Boy, who was deemed too expensive. Mbosso's management decided not to spend too much money on an artiste, given Mbosso's long-term goals.

Despite the initial setbacks, Mbosso's song has been trending since its release and has gained a significant following. Watch the song below:
