On September 27, 2019, Ringtone posted a video that has left many questioning his maturity and intentions.

The singer, known for his provocative statements, called out Ethic and Sailors gang for their explicit lyrics, specifically targeting their songs about sex.

He went on to pray for the artists' siblings, saying, "Naombea Ethic wanajifanya wao ndio wanajua kupiga rungu sana, naomba madada zao wapigwe marungu kabisa. Naombea Sailors, naombea dada zao na watu wao, walambwez na wanyonywez ndio waskie," which translates to "I pray for Ethic, may they be severely punished. I pray for Sailors, may their sisters and family members be severely punished and ridiculed."

However, his prayer did not sit well with social media users, who called him out for being immature and using controversy to seek relevance.
