The murder case of Tob Cohen, a Dutch businessman, has taken another twist as the plea taking of his wife, Sarah Cohen, was postponed to October 1.

The postponement comes after the prosecution and Cohen's family questioned her representation by Philip Murgor, a lawyer who had been appointed as a special prosecutor by the Director of Public Prosecutions, Noordin Haji.

Cliff Ombeta, the lawyer representing the Cohen family, claimed that Murgor had never resigned from his position as a special prosecutor, despite a letter dated March 7, 2019, which stated that Murgor had resigned due to a lack of assignments from Haji's office.

However, Murgor denied the allegations, stating that he had indeed resigned from the special assignment and had provided proof of his resignation on Twitter.

On September 26, 2019, Murgor tweeted a screenshot of his stamped letter of resignation, which was dated March 7, 2019, and was received by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) on the same date.

The battle between Ombeta and Murgor is set to continue as they defend their clients in the murder case.
