Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Tusker FC has received a significant boost ahead of their match against Sofapaka on Saturday, with the return of three key players from injury.
Experienced midfielder Humphrey Mieno, Apollo Otieno, and custodian Robert Mboya resumed training this week, much to the delight of coach Robert Matano.
"We are almost full-house and that is very good," Matano said after the team's training session at Ruaraka on Thursday morning. "They have been out for a long time and to have them back is good for the team. Only Kevin Omondi (Ade) is not back as he is recovering after knee surgery."

Despite the welcome return of the trio, Matano has emphasized the need for patience, stating that they have just started training and require time to get back to their best.
Tusker FC will host Sofapaka in search of their first home win of the season, following their 2-1 triumph at Kericho last weekend. The match is set to kick off at 2pm and will be aired live.
