Published on September 27, 2019, Rose Muhando's new song is a heartfelt expression of gratitude to President Uhuru Kenyatta and the people of Kenya for saving her life.

The Tanzanian singer found shelter in Kenya last year when she was unwell and has now released a song to thank those who showed her love and care during her recovery.

"Thank you His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta and all the Kenyans for the Love you showed me during my sickness in Kenya. Now am safe and ready to work for the Lord," Muhando wrote in a statement.

In the song, Muhando prays for God to bless President Kenyatta and his household, and to protect Kenya forever.

"Kenyatta. Let your hands and your house be blessed. Let the open heavens profess blessings to you," she sings in the Swahili song.

The song, which premiered on YouTube, is Muhando's second release since her comeback, following her previous song 'Walionicheka (Those who mocked me)' featuring Ringtone.
