Three years after Nation Media Group shut down its radio operations in Kenya and Rwanda, the media group is quietly rebuilding its presence in the airwaves.
Comedian Obinna and singer Anto Neosoul, former Nation FM presenters, recently announced their plans to make a comeback. This development has sparked renewed interest in the media group's plans to revive its radio station, Nation FM.
NTV presenters Dr. King'ori and Cate Rira have joined the Nation FM team, taking on the roles of hosts for the breakfast show, airing from Monday to Friday.
Ms. Rira shared the news on social media, stating, 'The radio revolution will be televised!! #CateandKingori will be giving you the best and hottest breakfast show in Ke!!! Make sure you tune your cars, ma3 airplanes, tuktuks, and nduthis to 96.3!!!'
Ms. Rira continues to present NTV's entertainment show 'Lit360', while Dr. King'ori hosts the comedy show 'The Wicked Edition'. They will maintain their TV roles alongside their new radio duties.
