Published on September 27, 2019, Zzero Sufuri's music career has been on the rise, with his debut hit 'Zimenishika' becoming a surprise hit, garnering over 1.8 million views on YouTube in just under five months.

The song, which is about smoking marijuana, has been a game-changer for Sufuri, who has been performing outside of the country and sharing the stage with Ivorian reggae legend Alpha Blondy at the Koroga Festival.

But what's even more surprising is that Sufuri's father is a preacher, who appreciates his talent and respects his craft.

'I love and adore him, he has brought me this far. He has his own church and respects my hustle like any other career. This is also my church,' Sufuri said during an interview on '10 over 10'.

Since his debut, Sufuri has released at least four solo singles, including 'Matisha', 'Chuki na Doo', 'Matiati', and 'Manzi'. He has also performed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he said the experience was eye-opening.

'It was amazing! It was an experience I never expected. It is just God,' Sufuri said.
