On September 27, 2019, Black Leopards, a PSL side, announced the appointment of Belgian tactician Luc Eymael as their new head coach.
Eymael, a seasoned coach, has extensive experience in South Africa, having previously coached Free State Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic, and Polokwane in the PSL.
Before joining Black Leopards, Eymael was without a job after parting ways with Egyptian Premier League side Tala'ea El Gaish SC.
