Published on September 26, 2019, Buckingham Palace announced that Princess Beatrice, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, is engaged to marry property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The couple became engaged while on a weekend getaway in Italy earlier this month, according to a palace statement.

Beatrice, the daughter of Prince Andrew, will marry Mapelli Mozzi in 2020.

Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie, married Jack Brooksbank, a wealthy wine merchant, last year in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Beatrice and Eugenie are ninth and 10th in line to the British throne.
