On a recent 'throwback' Thursday, Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura shared a photo of an albino boy standing in front of six children, claiming it was him in 1986.

However, online sleuths quickly debunked the claim, revealing that the photo was taken in Zambia, not Kenya, and that Mwaura was not the boy in the picture.

As the photo went viral, Kenyans took to social media to express their disappointment and frustration with Mwaura's actions.

"I started addressing a political gathering at the age of 4 years. A great #TBT in 1986 at Githunguri, Kiambu County," Mwaura wrote in the caption, further fueling the controversy.

Twitter users were quick to point out the inconsistencies in Mwaura's story, with one user commenting, "hio ata bila kushinda ukiangalia unajua tu ni uwongo juu 1986 hakukuwa na picha clear hivyo." (@stillBiIl, September 26, 2019)
