Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been out of a job since leaving the north London club in 2018, ending his 22-year tenure.
During his time at Arsenal, Wenger won 10 major titles, but his final years were marked by inconsistency and fan discontent.
Wenger has now made it clear that he would love to manage Manchester United, describing it as a "dream job" for any coach with "confidence" and "courage".
"Manchester United is a dream job for any manager. At least, any manager with courage and confidence," Wenger told beIN Sports.
Manchester United has had a shaky start to the season, with just two victories in six league matches, and Wenger believes the team has the right players but lacks tactical training to rediscover top form.
"The team have no pattern of play, no pattern of pressing. There is a team there, but it needs to be coached and developed," Wenger noted.
When asked if he would be interested in taking over the hot seat at Old Trafford, Wenger's intentions were clear.
"Like I said, Manchester United is a dream job. For any coach. I have confidence, I have courage...and you're right, I have ideas," he submitted.
