Published on September 26, 2019, Lilian Muli, a prominent Citizen TV anchor, has spoken out about her past behavior, specifically a public tantrum directed at Jared Nevaton Ombongi, the father of her second son.

During an interview with Malkia Africa, Muli acknowledged that her outburst was a 'lowest moment' and expressed regret over her actions.

'My recent outburst was my lowest moment, and I am not so proud of it because I had Kenyans speaking about it,' she said.

Muli has since learned from her mistakes and is taking steps to be more mindful of her comments on social media, referring to the incident as an 'oops moment.'

'I think sometimes I underestimate my brand, even with the knowledge about social media power, especially now. As a word of caution to any upcoming brand, anytime you are emotional, take your time before posting anything on social media, just count 1 to 100- before you get to 25, you will be okay,' she advised.

When asked about the incident, Muli acknowledged that it was a difficult time for her and those affected, but she has since made peace with the situation.

'I have made peace with myself and with the affected persons because some of these things affect even the family. I am a weak person but I am learning. I hope the affected will also make peace with me as well and even forget about it,' she said.
