On September 24, 2019, Tob Cohen's remains were laid to rest at a Jewish cemetery along Wangari Maathai road, but the pain of his brutal murder still lingers. His brother, Bernard, has spoken out about the circumstances surrounding his brother's life and death.

According to Bernard, Tob's marriage to Sarah Wairimu was a 'marriage of convenience' that was Sarah's idea. Bernard revealed that Tob was forced into the union by Sarah, who was his assistant at the time, and that they had to tie the knot quickly after falling in love.

Bernard also alleged that Tob's neighbors were eyeing his property and were planning to victimize him, which may have been a motive for his murder. He claimed that Sarah suggested the marriage to Tob in order to acquire a Kenyan citizenship.

Speaking at the funeral, Bernard thanked friends and family for gathering to bury his brother with dignity, saying, 'We are gathered here today to bury my brother for the second time, this time with dignity.'

As the family and friends mourned the loss of Tob Cohen, the investigation into his murder continues. The case has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice.
