At 34, Dhaval Bhanusali was a busy dermatologist in New York City, juggling a new office opening and a skincare line for Amazon. His hectic schedule left him little time for self-care, leading to weight gain and fatigue. "I was definitely more lethargic and didn't have the energy I wanted to keep up with my hectic life," he recalls.

Seeking a reset, Bhanusali prioritized his well-being, recognizing the importance of self-confidence in his work as a dermatologist. He aimed to get back in shape, shedding nearly 200 pounds, and regain his focus.

Initially, Bhanusali dropped 15-20 pounds through regular workouts and running, but he plateaued after a year or two. He then turned to RNT fitness, an online personal training service, which helped him identify the need for a balanced diet, particularly more protein as a vegetarian.

With a deeper understanding of nutrition, Bhanusali adapted his eating habits, incorporating protein-rich foods like tofu and cauliflower stir-fry. He also optimized his workouts, focusing on morning weight training and light jogging, with supersets to maximize his time commitment.

Within four to five months, Bhanusali reached his goal weight of 148 pounds and is now working to build muscle, aiming for 160-165 pounds. His energy levels and decision-making efficiency have improved significantly, impressing his friends and family.

Reflecting on his journey, Bhanusali emphasizes the importance of taking the first step towards self-improvement, saying, "Just jump. Not just in this but everything."
