Tragically, Catherine's father was hospitalized on the day of the murders, leaving her and her mother to fend for themselves.
As the family's WhatsApp group went silent on Sunday, concerns grew about Catherine and her mother's whereabouts.
Investigations revealed that Catherine and her mother were last seen at around 2 am on Sunday, dropped off at their residence in a black Toyota Prado.
According to Makadara deputy police commander Purity Muthoni, Catherine was found lying on the floor.
