Gor Semelango Sentenced to 30 Days in Jail for Defaulting on Sh 3.6 Million Loan

On September 25, 2019, Gor Semelango, a flamboyant politician and former Youth Fund boss, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for defaulting on a Sh 3.6 million loan.

According to court documents, Semelango was arrested in Nairobi on Tuesday afternoon and taken to Milimani Law Courts on Wednesday.

The court found Semelango guilty of defaulting on the loan, which belonged to Lumumba Mumma & Kaluma Advocates.

As a result, Semelango was sentenced to 30 days in jail without the option of bailing himself out.
