Nakuru Woman Who Stabbed Her Husband Detained

A woman who allegedly stabbed her husband was arraigned before a Nakuru law court after being held in custody.

According to the charge sheet, Hellen Kerubo is accused of committing an assault occasioning bodily harm to her husband, Onyancha, on the night of September 21, 2019.

The incident reportedly occurred at Hilton in London Estate within Nakuru Town West Constituency.

State Counsel, Faith Maalim informed the court that the accused was apprehended on September 22, 2019, and that the victim was admitted in Nakuru Level Hospital where he is currently in a critical and unconscious condition.

Chief Magistrate Elizabeth Usui denied the accused bail and detained her at Kaptembwa police station until September 27, 2019, when the case would be mentioned before the court again.
