10 Nigerians Share Crazy Things Love Made Them Do

Love can make people do crazy things, and Nigerians are no exception. In a recent Twitter thread, several young Nigerians shared outrageous things they did for love, and the results are both hilarious and heartbreaking.

According to a Pulse NG article published on September 25, 2019, one of the users, Adeola, revealed that she scammed her parents for money in university and bought her boyfriend a 43K wrist watch. When asked if she regretted it, she replied, "I actually do not regret it."

Another user, Shalewa, shared that she and her boyfriend had an agreement to elope if their parents said no to their marriage. However, the relationship broke up before it got to that point.

Other users shared similar stories, including helping their crush get her crush, spending their allowance on calls, and even risking their education for love.

One user, @iamtopmaestro, revealed that he was a poet in high school and would write poems for his crush to give to her crush. Another user, Olamide, shared that she spent most of her daily allowance in university calling her boyfriend who was abroad at the time.

Some users even went as far as risking their relationships to meet their exes or helping their partners with their school work. One user, @Yemithatiscray, revealed that she abandoned her medical classes to do a final year project for a final year engineering student.

These stories are a reminder that love can make people do crazy things, and it's essential to prioritize our well-being and make decisions that are in our best interest.
