Octopizzo, a well-known rapper, rarely collaborates with other artists or posts them on his social media. However, when he spots a talented artist, he is quick to support them.
Recently, Octopizzo uploaded a video of a raw rap cypher by a group of upcoming rappers from Kayole, which was introduced to the scene by online comedian Kartelo.
The cypher, published on YouTube on Monday, has left many impressed, with Lucci from the group receiving a big endorsement from Octopizzo.
Octopizzo praised Lucci, saying he is the 'King of Kayole', and has even offered to take him to the studio to record his song.
Speaking to Word Is yesterday, Octopizzo dismissed claims that he was throwing shade at fellow rapper Khaligraph Jones.
Octopizzo said, 'I'm too busy to think about another man. I mean, I am too busy to think about another man. I tell them to the face. If I don't like you, I don't, and there is nothing you can do.'
Octopizzo emphasized that he only posts artists on his page when he is impressed with their work, and that he doesn't care what people think about that.
