Gospel Singer Emmy Kosgei Plans to Return to Kenya After 30 Years ¶
Emmy Kosgei, a celebrated gospel singer, has announced plans to return to Kenya after 30 years of living in Nigeria.
According to an interview with Malaika Africa, Emmy revealed that she plans to move back to Kenya after retiring and enjoying her golden years in her 60s or 70s.
Emmy, who is married to Nigerian preacher Ansel Madubuko, has lived in Nigeria for six blissful years. She has been open about her life in Nigeria, sharing photos and stories of her experiences on social media.
During the interview, Emmy also shared her husband's affectionate nickname for her, 'my Nubian queen,' which she said is due to her dark and beautiful complexion.
Emmy moved to Nigeria in 2013 after celebrating two elaborate wedding ceremonies. She has been based in Nigeria ever since, but plans to return to Kenya after 30 years.
