September 25, 2019, marked a somber day as Tob Cohen, a Dutch tycoon, was laid to rest at the Jewish community cemetery along Wangari Maathai Road. The burial ceremony, attended by close family and friends, was a poignant reminder of the tragic events that led to Cohen's untimely demise.

Wairimu, who was allowed to attend the burial from prison remand, delivered a powerful message to those she believed were responsible for her husband's murder. 'I am not scared of anybody,' she declared. 'One thing Tob taught me is not to take No for an answer. So even in this, I'm going to fight. And even as we stand here, many of the ones who are responsible for Tob's death, in sheep's clothing, believe you me, your days are also numbered.'

Wairimu's words were laced with a sense of defiance and determination, as she apportioned blame to the family of her late husband. 'There are family members who are pretending and even purporting to be family, but yours is another story,' she said. 'I was not a secret. Everybody knows Sarah. I'm known as Sarah Tob's... and now more so, everybody knows all my names.'

The funeral was initially slated to take place on Monday but was pushed to Tuesday after they failed to raise the required number of priests to conduct the final rites. Only eight priests, instead of the required 10, were available for the burial of the Dutch tycoon. According to Jewish customs, the final rites for a man of Cohen's stature are supposed to be conducted by 10 priests and one Rabbi.
