On September 24, 2019, the Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) made a significant move in securing its financial future. In a ceremony held at the Capital Hotel in Addis Ababa, the EFF signed a 56-million birr sponsorship deal with Walia Beer.
The agreement, which runs for the next four years, marks a continuation of Walia Beer's support for Ethiopian football. The company had previously served as the main sponsor of the sport for the past four years.
