On Tuesday, Tob Cohen, a Dutch businessman, was finally laid to rest at the Jewish Cemetery in Nairobi, in accordance with Jewish rites.

His wife, Sarah Wairimu, who is accused of his murder, was also present at the interment.

The ceremony was attended by a number of notable figures, including former government spokesperson Muthui Kariuki, officials from the Dutch embassy, and President Uhuru Kenyatta's relatives, Ngengi Muigai and Captain Kung'u Muigai.

The burial had initially been scheduled for Monday, but was postponed due to a lack of quorum of the required 10 priests to perform the burial rites.

As the community comes to terms with Cohen's tragic death, it is a bittersweet moment for his family and friends, who are still grappling with the circumstances surrounding his passing.

According to reports, Cohen's body was found in an unused water tank on his compound, almost 60 days after he was reported missing.

At the time of his disappearance, Cohen was pursuing a divorce case against his wife and had also filed an assault case against her.
